The Ductile Iron Wafer Butterfly Valve is a quarter-turn rotary valve used for isolating or regulating flow. The valve body has no integral flanges but instead fits between two pipeline flanges with threaded bolts passing through the body’s lug holes. The rubber-lined body provides a soft seat that the disc compresses against for bubble-tight shut-off. Operation is simple: a 90° rotation of the handle or gearbox moves the disc from fully closed (0°) to fully open (90°). This design is compact, cost-effective, and ideal for large diameter applications where gate valves would be too heavy.
Lever or Gearbox: Manual lever for sizes ≤ DN200, gearbox for ≥ DN250.
100% Seat Test: Each valve tested at 1.1x rated pressure for zero leakage.
Disc Options: Ductile iron nickel-plated, stainless steel 304, or stainless steel 316.
Fast Delivery: Large stock for standard sizes (DN50 – DN600).
EPDM/NBR/PTFE Lining: Choose lining material based on fluid temperature and chemistry.
