Our Ductile Iron Resilient Seated Gate Valve is designed as the most reliable shut-off valve for modern waterworks, building HVAC, and firefighting systems. Unlike traditional gate valves that leak or rust after a few years, this series focuses on lifetime sealing and low maintenance.
The gate is completely encapsulated with high-grade EPDM rubber. When the valve closes, the rubber forms a tight seal against the precision-machined body seat. This “soft sealing” mechanism compensates for minor scratches or debris in the line, guaranteeing a bubble-tight shut-off every time.
Non-rising Stem (NRS): Designed for underground pits or limited vertical space. The stem rotates but does not move upward, saving installation height.
Full Port Design: When fully open, the gate retracts completely into the bonnet. The internal diameter is exactly the same as the pipe (no restriction), ensuring minimal pressure loss.
Wedge Protection: The flat bottom design eliminates the “trap” area found in conventional gate valves, preventing stones or welding slag from jamming the gate.
Material Traceability: All our ductile iron bodies (QT450-10) come with mill certificates. We guarantee no grey iron substitutes.
100% Hydrostatic Testing: Every single valve is tested for shell strength (1.5x PN) and seat sealing (1.1x PN) before packing. Test reports are available upon request.
Anti-corrosion Guarantee: 250-micron thick epoxy coating passes 500-hour salt spray test. Rust is not a problem for at least 5 years.
Custom Packaging for Export: Reinforced wooden cases with fumigation stamps. Cardboard sleeves protect flanges during sea freight.
