The Flanged Butterfly Valve features integral flanges cast as part of the body, allowing it to be bolted directly between pipeline flanges (unlike wafer type which relies on longer bolts). This design provides a more rigid connection and is preferred for higher pressure applications, larger diameters, or systems with significant pipe stress. The body is fully rubber-lined, meaning all wetted surfaces are covered with EPDM, NBR, or other elastomers for maximum corrosion protection. The disc (available in ductile iron nickel-plated or stainless steel) rotates 90° to open or close. The top flange is drilled to ISO 5211 standards, allowing direct mounting of electric or pneumatic actuators.
