The AWWA C515 Ductile Iron Resilient Seated Gate Valve is specifically engineered for the demanding requirements of municipal water distribution and transmission mains. Unlike conventional gate valves that rely on metal-to-metal contact, this series features a fully vulcanized EPDM rubber encapsulated gate. When closed, the rubber compresses against a precision-machined body seat, creating a resilient seal that compensates for minor scratches or particles in the line. The valve body is constructed from high-strength ductile iron (ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12), offering superior impact and tensile strength compared to gray iron. The non-rising stem design allows the valve to be buried directly underground without requiring a deep valve box, as the stem rotates without vertical movement.
Material Traceability: Mill certificates provided for all ductile iron castings.
Third-Party Test Available: We accept SGS/BV/TUV inspection at our facility.
Quick Lead Time: AWWA C515 standard sizes (DN50-DN600) ready in 30-40 days.
Export Packaging: Reinforced plywood cases with fumigation certificates, flange protectors included.
5-Year Anti-Corrosion Warranty: Epoxy coating passes 1000-hour salt spray test.
