The Forged Steel Threaded Gate Valve provides the same high pressure capability as the flanged version but with threaded connections (NPT or BSP) for smaller, lower cost installations. The forged carbon steel body (ASTM A105) is machined with female threads on both ends. Installation is simple — screw the valve onto male threaded pipe nipples — no welding or flanging required. This makes threaded valves the most economical choice for small branch lines (1/2″ to 2″), instrument impulse lines, drain connections, and bypass lines. The internal construction is identical to flanged forged valves: solid wedge, Stellite hardfaced seats, and rising stem design. The bonnet is either threaded or bolted, depending on pressure class.
Threads per ANSI B1.20.1 (NPT) or ISO 7-1 (BSP): Any thread standard available.
No Flange Gaskets Required: Threads seal with PTFE tape or pipe dope — lower installed cost.
Compact Size: Requires significantly less space than flanged valves.
Quick Installation: No bolting or alignment work — just thread into place.
Shelf Stock: Most sizes (1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/2″, 2″) available for immediate shipment.
