The Forged Carbon Steel Threaded Union is a three-piece fitting that allows two threaded pipes to be connected and disconnected without unthreading the pipes from the fitting ends. The union consists of three components: two threaded ends (male or female, typically female) that screw onto the pipe ends, and a center nut that pulls the two ends together against a sealing surface. Unions are essential in systems that require occasional disassembly for maintenance, cleaning, or component replacement — because without a union, you would have to unthread the entire pipe run to disconnect a single point. The union is forged from ASTM A105 carbon steel for high pressure service (Class 3000 or 6000). Sealing can be either metal-to-metal (ground joint) or with a replaceable gasket (typically PTFE or elastomer).
Removable Without Pipe Rotation: The center nut allows disconnection without turning pipes.
Replaceable Seat: Gasket type unions allow seat replacement without replacing the whole union.
Class 6000 Available: High pressure rating even in removable design.
Color Coded Nut: Identification marks for easy size recognition.
Full Traceability: Heat number on request.
