The Ductile Iron PE Flexible Coupling is a specialized mechanical joint designed specifically for connecting HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipe to flanged fittings, valves, or pumps. Standard flexible couplings designed for steel or ductile iron pipe often fail on PE pipe because PE’s smooth, lubricious surface allows the pipe to pull out under pressure. This PE-specific coupling features a longer gland, additional bolts, and a specially profiled rubber gasket with internal gripping rings that bite into the PE pipe surface without damaging it. The result is a reliable, fusion-free connection that can be installed in minutes rather than hours. The coupling is available with a flanged end (for bolting to valves/pumps) or with two plain ends (for joining two PE pipes). No heat fusion equipment or specialized training is required.
No Fusion Welding: Eliminates the need for expensive fusion machines and certified welders.
Removable/Reusable: The coupling can be disassembled — fused joints cannot.
Immediate Pressure Test: No cooling time required — test immediately after installation.
Works with All PE Grades: PE80, PE100, and recycled PE — all compatible.
Stainless Steel Hardware Option: SS304 bolts and glands for corrosive or marine environments.
