The Ductile Iron Flanged Cross (also called a 4-way cross or flanged cross tee) is a four-port fitting used where a pipeline needs to branch in two perpendicular directions from the same point — essentially a tee with an additional branch on the opposite side. The fitting has four integral flanges: two on the main run (straight through), and two on the perpendicular branches (opposite each other). The cross is most commonly used in fire ring mains, pump headers, and plant utility loops. The body is cast from ductile iron QT450-10 with reinforced thickness at all branch intersections to handle stress concentration. The internal and external surfaces are coated with fusion bonded epoxy (minimum 250 microns). Flanges can be drilled to ANSI, EN, BS, JIS, or custom bolt patterns.
Saves Space: One cross replaces two tees and a pipe spool — reduces fittings and installation time.
Balanced Flow: Symmetrical design provides equal flow to both branches.
High Strength Casting: Reinforced ribbing at intersections prevents cracking.
Full Certifications: Material certificates and hydro test reports included.
Custom Drilling: We match any flange standard.
