The Ductile Iron Flanged Tee is a three-port fitting used to create a branch connection from a main pipeline. It features integral flanges on all three ends — the two ends of the run (straight-through) and the branch outlet (perpendicular). Tees are available in two configurations: Equal tee (all three ports the same size) and reducing tee (branch port is smaller than the run ports). The fitting is manufactured from high strength ductile iron QT450-10 (GJS-400 or GJS-500). The branch intersection is reinforced with additional wall thickness to handle stress concentration at the junction. The internal and external surfaces are coated with fusion bonded epoxy (minimum 250 microns) for corrosion resistance. Flanges are drilled to customer specifications — ANSI Class 125/150, EN PN10/PN16, BS 4504, or JIS 10K/16K.
Full Traceability: Heat number and size cast into body.
Reinforced Branch: Extra material at the intersection — no cracking under pressure surges.
100% Hydro Tested: Each tee tested at 1.5x rated pressure.
Flange Drilling to Spec: We can drill to your gasket dimensions.
WRAS Certified Coating: Safe for drinking water systems.
