The Ductile Iron Flanged Elbow is a pipe fitting used to change the direction of flow in a pipeline by 90° or 45°. It is manufactured from high strength ductile iron (QT450-10 or GJS-500-7), offering superior impact resistance and tensile strength compared to gray cast iron fittings. Both ends are integrally cast with flanges for direct bolting to flanged valves, pumps, expansion joints, or pipe spools. The internal and external surfaces are coated with fusion bonded epoxy (minimum 250 microns thickness) which meets WRAS and NSF/ANSI 61 standards for drinking water applications. Long radius elbows (1.5D) are recommended for low pressure drop and reduced erosion; short radius elbows (1.0D) are used where space is limited. All flanges are drilled to customer specifications — ANSI B16.5 Class 125/150, EN 1092-2 PN10/PN16, BS 4504, or JIS 10K/16K.
Material Certificates Included: EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates for all ductile iron castings.
100% Hydrostatic Tested: Each fitting tested at 1.5x rated pressure.
WRAS / NSF Certified Coating: Safe for potable water — no taste or odor issues.
Full Traceability: Heat number stamped on each fitting.
Quick Lead Time: Standard sizes (DN50-DN600) in 15-20 days.
