The Stainless Steel Flanged Globe Valve is designed for applications requiring both precise flow control and positive shut-off in corrosive media. The globe pattern body directs flow through a tortuous path (entering below the seat), which provides excellent throttling characteristics — the operator can accurately control flow rate by adjusting disc position. The body, bonnet, and disc are investment cast from CF8 (SS304) or CF8M (SS316) stainless steel. The seat ring is threaded into the body and can be replaced in the field. A backseat feature allows the stem packing to be replaced while the valve is under full line pressure (by fully opening the valve before removing packing). Flanged ends (ANSI B16.5 or EN 1092-1) allow direct bolt-up to pipeline flanges.
Investment Casting: Smooth surface finish reduces fluid turbulence and improves cleanability.
Stellite Hardfacing Option: For high temperature steam or abrasive media (valve lasts longer).
Sanitary Polish Option: Internal surfaces polished to Ra 0.8μm for pharmaceutical service.
100% Seat Tested: Bubble-tight shut-off at rated pressure.
