The Rubber Expansion Joint (threaded type) is a small bore version of the flanged rubber expansion joint, designed for pipes from 1/2″ to 4″ (DN15 to DN100). It features female NPT or BSP threads on both ends, allowing direct screwing onto male threaded pipe ends. The rubber body is multi-arch construction with nylon or polyester cord reinforcement, providing flexibility to absorb axial, angular, and lateral movement. The threaded design eliminates the need for flanges and gaskets, reducing installation time and cost. The joint is ideal for connecting small pumps, compressors, and equipment where vibration isolation is needed but space is limited. The rubber material is selected based on the fluid: EPDM for hot water, air, and mild chemicals; NBR for oils, fuels, and petroleum-based fluids. The joint is pressure rated to PN10 or PN16 and temperature rated to 110°C (for EPDM).
Easy Installation: Thread directly onto pipe ends — no flanges, no bolts, no gaskets.
Cost Effective: Lower purchase price than flanged type for small diameters.
Space Saving: Short face-to-face length fits where flanged joint won’t.
Corrosion Resistant: No metal wetted parts — ideal for saltwater or chemical service.
Quick Stock: All sizes from 1/2″ to 4″ in stock for immediate shipment.
